Meet Dr. Alec Maluso
Dr. Alec attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Coming from a non-chiropractic background, the entire educational experience shaped his understanding of care, learning everything from the fundamentals of chiropractic to how to properly treat any patient who walks through the door.
The Moment That Changed Everything
Dr. Alec’s path to chiropractic began during his sophomore year of undergrad when his father suffered a back injury while training for a powerlifting competition. Around the same time, a family friend who competed with Dr. Alec’s parents in CrossFit faced a similar injury. Dr. Alec’s father chose chiropractic care while the family friend opted for surgery.
After about six months, Dr. Alec’s dad won a masters division powerlifting competition while the family friend required a second surgery and remains unable to do heavy lifting years later. Witnessing this stark difference firsthand opened Dr. Alec’s eyes to the powerful impact of chiropractic care.
What Drives Dr. Alec
What truly sets Dr. Alec apart is his passion for being a shining light in the lives of everyone who comes through the office doors. He understands that when someone is in significant pain, a friendly and caring attitude goes a long way in gaining their trust and determining exactly what they need to get back to fighting shape.
A Welcoming Presence
When new patients meet Dr. Alec, they immediately notice his cheerful, friendly attitude and his ability to make them feel like part of the family, even on their first visit. Though he’s a recent graduate, his perspective on chiropractic continues to evolve, and he has already witnessed time and again how life-changing chiropractic care can be for patients.
Beyond the Practice Walls
Outside the office, Dr. Alec enjoys golfing, snowboarding, working out, and watching football. He also stays connected with his childhood friends through video games and loves spending time with family and friends. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Alec and his family moved frequently during his childhood for his father’s work.
He’s blessed to have his loving parents and sister all living in North Carolina now, so they get together nearly every weekend. Dr. Alec recently married his wife, Kristen, and they’re excited to start a family of their own in the coming years.
