Why It’s Important to Get Checked

Typically degenerative processes are always going on in people’s lives. Let’s say you’re 40 years old, and played high school sports. The degenerative processes are occurring, and it typically takes some sort of catalyst to cause pain and get those things to a point where it’s uncomfortable for you.

In the case of an auto accident, significant muscle tension will occur, which could cause the vertebrae to slip out of place. When that happens, pain, numbness, tingling, and other symptoms will result.

Another reason why it’s important to get checked is that we want to make sure you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care and don’t need to be somewhere else. For example, if you have a broken elbow, that’s not something we treat. We would immediately refer you to an orthopedist.

Three Stages of Care

Here are the three phases of treatment you can expect at our practice:

Stage One: Our goal is to provide pain relief and have you feeling approximately 80% better within two weeks.
Stage Two: The following five weeks after the initial stage, our objective is to address any remaining pain and then misalignment.
Stage Three: During this wellness phase, our goal is to help you maintain your results.

If I need an MRI or need to see a different doctor, can you provide a referral?

Yes, as we know all the orthopedists in town and many other doctors, if you need an MRI, it’s easy for us to arrange for you to get one quickly.
